Come hungry and make plans to dine downtown! Duke’s Feast Restaurant Week is back for Summer 2026, bringing a week of special menus and a great reason to experience the restaurants of Downtown Albemarle.

From August 10–16, participating restaurants are offering specially created 3-course fixed-price dinner menus, giving you the opportunity to try something different, revisit a favorite restaurant, or gather a group of friends for a night out downtown.

This summer’s participating restaurants are Downtown Cantina, Five Points Public House, and The Independent Bistro & Makers Place—and each is bringing something completely different to the table.

Downtown Cantina | $27

📍 128 East Main Street

If Mexican and Southwestern flavors are calling your name, make Downtown Cantina one of your Duke’s Feast stops.

For $27, guests can create their own three-course dinner beginning with a choice of Tortilla Soup, Fresh Guacamole, or Cheese Dip.

For the main course, choose between Steak, Chicken & Shrimp served with French Fries or Tilapia Fillet & Shrimp served with Steamed Vegetables and White Rice.

Finish your meal with your choice of Empanadas or Churros.

And if you want to add a drink to your evening, Downtown Cantina’s bar features specialty cocktails along with beer and whiskey selections.

Duke’s Feast Dinner Hours: Monday – Saturday | 4–9 PM

Five Points Public House | $30

📍 304 East Main Street

Five Points Public House has created a hearty three-course menu with plenty of choices for Duke’s Feast.

For $30 per person, guests receive one selection from each course.

Start with a Caesar Salad, House Salad, or Shrimp Cocktail before moving on to your entree.

You have your choice of three entrées:

BBQ Ribs — A half rack of pork ribs smothered in house-made BBQ sauce and served with BBQ coleslaw and one side.

Grouper — Blackened grouper topped with pineapple salsa and served with one side.

Steak Tips — Seared steak tips with peppers and onions in a beef demi-glace over mashed potatoes and served with one side.

Save room for dessert! Choose between Strawberry Shortcake, layered with strawberry compote and finished with buttercream icing, or a decadent Flourless Chocolate Cake topped with chocolate shavings.

Both dessert selections are gluten-free.

Something New at The Independent Bistro | $30

📍 251 West Main Street

One of the most exciting additions to this summer’s Duke’s Feast is happening at The Independent Bistro & Makers Place.

For the first time, The Independent is opening for dinner!

The restaurant will hold a soft opening Friday through Sunday from 5–9 PM, giving guests the opportunity to be among the first to experience its new Mediterranean-inspired dinner service.

The special $30 Duke’s Feast menu begins with a choice of a Mezze & Cheese Board featuring hummus, whipped feta, smoked Gouda, Irish aged cheddar and freshly baked sourdough or focaccia, or a refreshing Watermelon Salad with spinach, arugula, pickled onions, goat cheese, watermelon and balsamic vinaigrette.

For the second course, choose between Authentic Italian Lasagna, layered with meaty Bolognese sauce and white béchamel and served with the house signature salad, or Moroccan Chicken Over Bulgur, featuring juicy chicken cooked with Moroccan spices and served over bulgur wheat.

Dessert choices include a light Fresh Fruit Salad with mango and lemon juice or Chocolate Cake served with your choice of pistachio or strawberry whipped cream.

Guests can also enjoy a curated selection of wine and beer, chosen to complement The Independent’s Mediterranean-inspired dinner offerings.

Because this is The Independent’s first weekend offering dinner service, it is a true soft opening. The team will be fine-tuning recipes and getting into the rhythm of evening service, so we encourage guests to come hungry, bring a little patience and plenty of encouragement, and enjoy being part of this exciting new chapter for a downtown restaurant.
