Pam Poplin: 2025 NC Main Street Champion

Pam Poplin’s story is one of quiet leadership and unwavering dedication. She has been a steadfast advocate for downtown Albemarle, serving on the Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation board, even taking on the role of Treasurer. Though her term has ended, Pam continues to make an impact through volunteerism.


As a downtown professional with Pinnacle Financial Partners, Pam is always accessible for questions and quick to step in wherever needed. She plays a key role in recruiting volunteers for the Outdoorsman’s Bonanza, a major raffle fundraiser that draws over 2,300 guests and is produced in partnership with another nonprofit. From early morning planning meetings to a full day of selling raffle tickets at the event—and every task in between—Pam brings energy, dedication, and a solutions-focused mindset.


Her commitment helps shape downtown Albemarle’s success, and her example continues to inspire, which is why Albemarle is proud to honor Pam Poplin as its 2025 Main Street Champion.
