Albemarle Downtown offers three grants to small businesses and organizations in downtown Albemarle. Whether you'd like to add planters, a new sign, or update your facade, grants are available to assist with your enhancing your business or property! Applications are open year-round. Interested applicants must be located within the Municipal Service District (MSD) , Central Business District (CBD), or City of Albemarle Historic District (COA HD) be eligible. The City of Albemarle's Catalyst Grant also assists business owners with larger projects in downtown Albemarle, up to $50,000. Applications will open early fall 2026.
