Help Restore The Colonnade At Courthouse Square
My name is David Vielbaum Jr, and I am pursuing the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting of America. To qualify, I must plan, lead, and complete a service project that benefits the community.
I have chosen to repair and restore the colonnade at Courthouse Square Park.

About the Project
Courthouse Square Park is a gathering place that belongs to all of us. Over time, the colonnade has fallen into disrepair and needs attention to restore it to the condition our community deserves. My project, the Courthouse Square Park Colonnade Repairs and Restoration, will address those needs directly. I will be organizing and leading a team of volunteers to carry out the repairs and restore this landmark for everyone who visits the park.
Why I Need Your Help
Eagle Scout projects rely entirely on donations and community support, not funding from the Scouting of America. Every dollar raised will be used for materials and supplies, such as lumber, hardware, and paint. No funds will go to the Scouting of America or to me. Any remaining funds after completion will be given to the nonprofit, Albemarle Downtown Development Corporation.
What Your Donation Makes Possible
Your contribution, large or small, will help make this community improvement possible. This project will enhance the appearance and atmosphere of the City of Albemarle and support Albemarle Downtown's nonprofit beautification efforts.
I am committed to seeing this through from start to finish. I have put together a detailed plan, assembled a volunteer team, and will personally lead every phase of the work. All I need is your support to make this happen.
Thank you for believing in this project and in the next generation of community leaders.
With gratitude, David Vielbaum Jr Eagle Scout Candidate, Scouting of America
