An Albemarle Downtown Christmas
An Albemarle Downtown Christmas is this Friday, December 5! Celebrate the holiday season with fun for the entire family from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The festivities kick off with the lighting of the Christmas tree at City Hall at 5:30 p.m. Bring your family and friends to enjoy exciting activities for kids, including hayrides, face painting, crafts, and, of course, a visit with Santa at Courthouse Square Park!
Plus, enjoy delicious food trucks, unique street vendors, and special extended hours at our local downtown shops—making it the perfect night for holiday shopping and fun!
Albemarle Christmas Parade
Santa will be here before you know it! The Albemarle Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 13, at 4 p.m. Participating in the parade is a perfect opportunity to promote your business, organization, or community group.

Every other Wednesday -- December 3rd and 17th from 9:00AM to 12:00 PM Second Street Sundries and Indivisible Uwharrie hosts a community meet-up to connect about what's happening locally, share concerts, swap ideas and build relationships.
Holiday Concert with Stanly County Concert Band & Pfeiifer University Wind Ensemble
Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church the Stanly County Concert Band and the Pfeiffer University Wind Ensemble will be performing. Admission is a food item for Stanly Community Christian Ministries
Christmas Open House
We hope you will make plans to join us at the Stanly County Historical Society Christmas Open House. The event will be held at the Historic 1852 Isaiah Snuggs House (112 North Third Street in Downtown Albemarle) on Friday, December 5 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Admission is free and there will be tours, hot cider and cookies, and visit with Old World St. Nicholas.
