Enjoy an evening of candy and costumes in downtown Albemarle! Bring the kids for trick-or-treating, face painting, a costume contest, food trucks, and more.
Get ready to haunt the brewery with your friends, because Uwharrie Brewing is holding its first Halloween Haunt! Join us from 7-10 PM on Saturday, October 31st, for music, brews and boos!
RTDT Music will be here to DJ the party and host our costume contests. Come dressed in your most creative, spookiest, or most niche costume, and see if you can beat your competitors! Prizes will be awarded for Best Men's Costume, Best Women's Costume and Best Couple's Costume.
Luna Pizza will be here serving until 9 PM, and we will be running all day beer specials!
Please note: This event is not geared towards children. While they are welcome with their parents, this event is geared towards the grownups!
Community Night Out
On Saturday, November 14 from Noon -3pm, The Albemarle Police Department and Safe Kids Stanly County invite you to an evening of free fun activities for everyone at YMCA Park. Community Night Out will feature music, a bounce house, games, face painting, food trucks and an opportunity to connect with members of local enforcement & emergency personnel who serve our community.
Wednesday, November 25th at 6 PM - 10 PM, everyone's back in town and your family is taking up space in your house, so what better way to blow off some steam than the Uwharrie Brewing Thanksgiving Eve Party, 121 N. 3rd Street!!
Ryan Melquist aka Qwister will be back spinning the tunes to keep the vibe right all night long. Spudwings will be parked outside serving up the best wings and spuds in the area. Beers will be flowing, so bring grandma and your aunties, or make it a cousins event, and enjoy the night!
An Albemarle Downtown Christmas
On Friday, December 4 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, celebrate the season with an Albemarle Downtown Christmas. There's something for everyone: a tree lighting at City Hall, visits with Santa at Courthouse Square Park, live music and dance performances, downtown stores open late, and children’s activities.
Albemarle Christmas Parade
On Saturday, December 12 at 4pm, Experience the magic of the holidays as the Christmas Parade winds through the streets of downtown Albemarle. Featuring festive floats, local groups, and more, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! The parade lasts until about 5:30 p.m.
