Join us for the first Historic Landmark Lounge Tour on Thursday, August 20! You'll take a guided tour of this downtown landmark, learn about its history, and get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Albemarle's historic buildings. While you wait for your tour, enjoy complimentary beer samples and popcorn.

Wagfest
Calling all animal lovers on Saturday, September 26 from 2 PM - 8 PM at Market Station, 501 West Main St.! There will be food trucks, vendors, live music, photo opportunities, and of course ADOPTION EVENTS! And best of all, all proceeds benefit the Stanly County Humane Society.
Murder Mystery Game
Join us on a quest through Downtown Albemarle as we visit shops, talk to establishment owners, and discover the identity of Albemarle’s Most Wanted person!! You don’t want to miss this!
Tickets are required to participate and will be available for purchase soon! Adults over the age of 21 will be provided beverages along the way to help them sleuth out the killer. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the local arts.

Albemarle Stage and Story
In partnership with the Uwharrie Players, the Stanly County Library presents Stage & Story every 2nd Saturday of the month from 11:30-12:15. This interactive workshop for kids ages 6-11 explores the basics of theater through acting games, imagination exercises, and beginner theater skills.
