The Albemarle Holiday Tour of Homes returns this November! Step inside some of our community's special homes, discover their stories, gather holiday inspiration, and experience an afternoon and evening celebrating Albemarle.
But the Holiday Tour of Homes is about more than the homes you visit. This event is a fundraiser for Albemarle Downtown, helping us invest in our downtown businesses, historic buildings, community events, and the continued growth and vitality of Downtown Albemarle.

We are currently looking for homes for the 2026 Tour!
Have a home you'd love to share? Know of one you think we should see? We would love to hear from you.
We're looking for homes with character, history, beautiful design, interesting renovations, great stories, unique architecture, or simply something special to share with the community.
And don't worry—your home does not have to look like a Christmas magazine! While we love holiday décor, homes do not have to be professionally or extensively decorated to participate. People love seeing the homes themselves, hearing their stories, and discovering the people and history behind them.
You may also nominate someone else's home. Just complete the form to the best of your ability, and we'll take it from there.

Because the Holiday Tour of Homes is a fundraiser for Albemarle Downtown, proceeds help support historic preservation and beautification, small business and property improvement grants for façades, signage, and other improvements, as well as events and programs that bring people downtown and support our local businesses.
