Throwback Thursday!
This week, we took you on a journey through time with a simple question:
“Where are we today? This popular spot has been home to two different industries since the building was completed in 1917.”
Well, the wait is over! If you guessed Five Points, you nailed it!
This historic downtown building has seen Albemarle through more than a century of change. After Morgan Motor Company Building, the space underwent a major transformation. In 2004, it was thoughtfully rehabilitated to preserve its character while giving it a new lease on life.
Today, it's the proud home of Five Points Public House—a vibrant local favorite where history meets hospitality.
Whether you're stopping by for a burger, live music, or just to soak in the atmosphere, you're dining in a place filled with rich stories and deep roots in our community.
