Albemarle Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 14 | 4 p.m.
Experience the magic of the holidays as the Christmas Parade winds through the streets of downtown Albemarle. Featuring festive floats, local groups, and more, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! Enjoy food truck vendors and more along the route! The parade lasts until about 5:30 p.m.
Pat Bramlett has been selected as this year’s Grand Marshal after a thoughtful review of all nominations.
Mrs. Bramlett has dedicated her life to education and community service, profoundly impacting countless lives. Her career in education ranged from preschool to secondary levels, where she advocated for technology integration. She continues to champion the youth of Stanly County through her work with the Daughters of the American Revolution – Yadkin River Patriots Chapter, honoring students with the Good Citizen Award.
In addition to her contributions to education, Mrs. Bramlett devotes her time to various community organizations, including Stanly County Sports Hall of Fame, Keep Stanly Beautiful, Stanly County Historical Society, Pfriends of the Pfeiffer Center for Health Services, and Stanly County History Center.
As a passionate supporter of the arts, she remains actively involved with local arts organizations. Congratulations to Mrs. Bramlett!
