Downtown Social District- Public Input Session

Join the City of Albemarle for an in-person public input session to provide feedback on the implementation of a social district in downtown Albemarle. Social districts enable patrons of Downtown ABC permitted establishments to drink an alcoholic beverage on sidewalks and public areas within the defined social district. City staff will provide an informational presentation on social districts, discuss boundaries for the district, and address questions that guests may have. Community input is vital and appreciated for city staff to consider as we move towards the implementation process.
This session goes live at 1 pm and 6 pm with the option to participate via Zoom. The passcode for the Zoom option is 150721. The session duration will go on for at least 1 hour and half and starts again at 6pm.
