The recently renovated depot provides a wonderful venue for all types of events, including weddings, receptions, concerts, meetings, reunions, and dances. Tables and chairs, set up to accommodate your needs, are included in the rental fee. Formal seating capacity in the dining area is approximately 80, and can accommodate more in an informal setting. Linens are also available for a nominal charge. The spacious catering kitchen provides ample room for meal preparation. The open air pavilion, complete with lights, plumbing and electricity, can seat in excess of 200 people in a covered area. The plaza provides benches and outdoor restrooms, surrounded by flowering trees and seasonal plantings. |

All are centrally located on the museum complex in downtown Albemarle. The Museum Visitor Center houses the museum’s Heritage Gallery, a research room, a gift shop, staff offices and restrooms. There is no admission fee.
